Helmacab and Logent expand cooperation to factory logistics services

Helmacab and Logent have agreed to expand their cooperation to cover factory logistics operations at Helmacab’s Kaarina production facility in Finland. Previously, Logent has been responsible for the maintenance of reels and reel recycling logistics at the Kaarina plant. Going forward, the cooperation will also include factory logistics services, covering material receipt, storage, distribution to production, and the transfer of finished products to the product warehouse.

The expanded cooperation will take effect on 1 January 2026. As part of this, Helmacab’s factory logistics personnel will transfer to Logent’s employment. They will continue their duties within Logent’s organization and remain a vital part of the logistics service chain.

Objectives of the cooperation

The expansion of the partnership between Helmacab and Logent supports Helmacab’s strategy to focus on its core operations while ensuring more efficient support processes. It allows for more comprehensive management of factory logistics operations and helps maintain smooth production flow.

Through this cooperation, Helmacab can respond more flexibly to changing production needs and ensure the availability of resources. Logent’s broader resource pool provides operational continuity and enables rapid response to changing situations, strengthening reliability for both parties.
