The nearly 20-year partnership between Logent and Marioff will continue under a new agreement period. Logent will remain responsible for Marioff’s finished goods warehousing, spare parts logistics, and wooden packaging services.
The service scope covers Marioff’s finished goods warehousing operations in their entirety, including goods receiving, storage, order picking, and outbound deliveries. Logent also manages Marioff’s spare parts logistics and provides value-added warehousing services tailored to the customer’s needs. The warehousing and spare parts operations are carried out at Logent’s logistics center in Hakkila, Vantaa. In addition, Logent manufactures wooden packaging for Marioff.
The collaboration between Marioff and Logent began in 2008 when Logent started providing warehousing services to Marioff. Wooden packaging services were added in 2012, and in 2023 the partnership expanded to include finished goods warehousing and spare parts logistics.
“Marioff has trusted us for nearly two decades, which says a great deal about the quality of our cooperation. Long-term partnerships are built when logistics continues to support a customer’s business as it evolves and grows. Marioff is a great example of how a partnership can develop into an increasingly comprehensive collaboration over the years,” says Joni Sundelin, Business Area President at Logent Finland.
During the previous contract period, Marioff’s logistics operations were successfully consolidated into a single location, improving operational control, efficiency, and transparency. Logent has also invested in processes, expertise, and equipment to ensure efficient handling of even large and demanding products.
The operating model enables rapid response to significant volume fluctuations and large order quantities without compromising service quality or delivery performance. As a result, Logent has maintained a very high level of service and delivery reliability while consistently meeting Marioff’s requirements.
“Logent has been a strategic partner for Marioff, enabling us to focus on our core business while supporting the growth and development of our supply chain. Together, we have successfully responded to increasing volumes and significantly improved delivery reliability. Our collaboration is built on continuous development and a shared commitment to finding solutions that support future growth and business objectives. We are very pleased to continue our partnership,” says Anne Kauppila, Operations Director at Marioff.
“Our partnership is characterized by openness, trust, and a shared commitment to finding solutions, even in challenging situations. I am very pleased that our cooperation will continue under this new agreement period. I am confident that together we can continue developing our operations and create the next success stories,” says Kaarlo Duwaldt, Site Manager of Logent’s Vantaa logistics center.
