Returning clothes has become a natural part of online shopping, providing companies with an opportunity to rethink and improve their processes. Many businesses are currently reviewing their return handling to find more efficient and cost-effective solutions. By optimizing logistics, reducing waste, and enhancing customer service, companies can turn returns into a chance to innovate and improve their overall operations. This focus on refining return management opens the door to greater efficiency and a better shopping experience for customers.

In the spring of 2024, Bubbleroom took the initiative to relocate its return handling to Sweden, partnering with Logent to operate the process at Bubbleroom’s warehouse in Viared. This strategic initiative aims to save time, money, and reduce environmental impact for both Logent and Bubbleroom. Establishing a return hub in Sweden result in reduced emissions through reduced transport distances and significantly reduces lead times due to the minimized turnaround times. Currently, Logent is scaling up the solution and the plan is to offer an efficient high-quality return service to external customers as well.

"We have had this initiative in our roadmap for a while, and now we have officially taken the step to bring our return handling back to Sweden and our warehouse in Viared. For Bubbleroom, this means much more control over our return flow, reduced transports, and alignment with our environmental policy, which will also enhance our customer experience," Joel Sandberg, COO Bubbleroom.

Morgan Almqvist, Business Unit Director of E-commerce at Logent, added, "Logent has been operating return handling for several customers over the years and we have developed deep experience in identifying best practices. Bubbleroom’s decision to include their returns in our Viared operation allows us to scale the operation and offer an efficient return hub solution to external customers as well."
