Logent is expanding its operations in Sweden by taking full operational responsibility for the fulfilment facility in Viared and opening the automated site to additional customers. The expansion increases capacity and marks a step towards a broader multi-client logistics setup.

The move significantly increases Logent’s capacity in the Swedish market and enables the company to serve a broader range of customers.

“This is an important step in our growth. We see a growing need among customers with more complex logistics requirements, and by opening the Viared facility to more customers, we can make better use of a highly automated setup to support those needs,” says Joel Engström, CEO of Logent.

Logent and Bubbleroom are simultaneously extending their long-standing partnership. Logent originally designed and established the Viared facility in 2021, and will now take full responsibility for operations and automation, while continuing to develop the site further.

The facility comprises 17,500 square metres of warehouse space and 3,000 square metres of office space. It is equipped with an AutoStore system that, following an ongoing expansion, will include around 100 robots and 75,000 bins. The setup is complemented by conveyor systems and sorting solutions for cartons and polybags, developed in close collaboration with partners Hökerum, IMI, Element Logic and iCore.

With the transition, Logent creates a strong platform for continued growth in the Swedish third-party logistics market. The combination of automation, scale and flexibility enables the company to serve a broader range of customers.

Logent has already secured additional volumes for the Viared facility, creating a strong foundation for the expanded operation. With available capacity and a modern automated setup, the site is well positioned to support further growth and new customer partnerships.

Comprehensive logistics offering in Viared

From the Viared facility, Logent will manage the full logistics flow, including inbound transportation, warehousing and order fulfilment, returns management, customs handling and last-mile distribution, as well as value-added services such as labelling, repacking and quality control.

Returns management is already an area where Logent offers a competitive setup, with several customers having relocated operations from the Baltics to Sweden, resulting in shorter lead times, lower costs and reduced environmental impact.

The transition and the new operational setup are planned to be completed during the third quarter of 2026. The expansion reflects a growing demand for more flexible and scalable logistics solutions, particularly among companies with demanding logistics needs.
